1. Increase local participation in the arts and in fostering an arts environment.

2. Celebrate the rich and varied cultures of Jefferson County

3. Preserve the history of Jefferson County

4. Expand opportunities for professionals in arts and culture that will benefit the community at large

5. Increasing the awareness and opportunities of culture for youth
